"I have become the Indiana Jones of the bullet journalling set!"

One can only imagine the works of courage and stamina we could have seen if only the likes of T.E. Lawrence, Kipling, or Hemingway could have had the use of such a fine journal.

I shall do my best to fill that gap, along with legions of other Lochby customers equally armed with Field Journals.

This journal jacket offers features without being too much. It's simply versatile. The craftsmanship is that of an heirloom piece that will stand the test of time, even as it appears more worn. That developed wear is a testament to the Field Journal's ruggedness and use as an everyday item rather than a showpiece. More than just a daily use journal, the Field Journal is more than capable of coming with me on my ventures. In fact, it's meant to and it truly shines in that environment.

"Great journal cover"

I have to say that the waxed journal cover I have been using gets asked about quite a bit. It not only is a pleasure to use but it’s built like those old school military tents. They could hold up to anything Mother Nature could bring on, I know I spent many a rough night in them. I expect like my 30 year old Filson waxed jacket I will have that journal for many years of writing pleasure.

"Tough as asphalt"

Left my journal on the hood of my car like an idiot. Realized its fate the next morning but was able to find it on the side of the busy road. The A5 notebooks are crinkled and two of my pens didn’t survive the ordeal, but the journal itself held up surprisingly well! I’d even say that the tire track adds to the aesthetic!

"Okay, this thing is tough."

From the amazing hook closure to the innards. I've already spilled half a bottle of water on it (not actually on purpose) and the notebook inside was fine. My children have dropped it outside our house on the driveway, It's been kicked by a seven year old during a tantrum and survived being stepped on by all 245 pounds of me... Just an amazing product that was totally worth both the wait and the money! Great Job Lochby!

"Rugged yet Refined"

I’ve spilled water and coffee on this. I have thrown in the snow and wedged it between branches. It takes a beating while still looking good. I carry it to work with me everyday. It has just the appropriate amount of pockets to hold everything I need for Bible study, work, and note taking. Truly a work of art.
