I was at Mount Royal University in Calgary for 25 years, 11 of which I Chaired the Department of Theatre, Speech and Music Performance. After retiring in 2014, I sold guitars at Long & McQuade Musical Instruments for two and a half years mostly because I love the guitar so much. I live in Halifax, Nova Scotia CANADA and spend most of my time in the wilderness areas close by. My trail name "Shunpyke" is founded in the words of poet Robert Frost "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." The word "shunpike" means literally to avoid the main road.
